Holy smokes I have so much to tell you!

First, my best friend Jordan Watko (Crowd Shy) and I made another new album (my fourth and our third together!!) with our friend Andrew Goldring across 9,000 miles, one ocean, and 3 different time zones. It’s called “If I Let It Quiet” and it comes out on July 24th. It is an exploration about what it takes to quiet the noise of geographical and emotional distance in order to hear ourselves and the ones who see us. Audio Antihero and Lavender Vinyl are helping me bring it into the world digitally and on super beautiful random color 45 RPM double LPs. Pre-orders are available now on my Bandcamp! 10% of vinyl sales will be going to Salt Lake City Mutual Aid.

The visuals for the album and single art are digital + VHS pieces created by the endlessly talented Lonny Starsky and the album layout and design was created by the immeasurably prolific Helvetica Blanc - can’t wait for you see it on the LP - the layout includes all of the lyrics and it’s going to be breathtaking.

The next single from the album is a song called The Witness, a song about knowing that to be seen and held and understood, you must first see and hold and understand. It’s about love, beyond limits and gender, across multiple universes. It’s also a little bit about deleting my Twitter account. It comes out in just TWO WEEKS so be ready for me to be annoying about it!

I’ve ALSO somehow convinced Jordan to come back to the states from Japan this summer to be in my band again with our friend Ken Vallejos on the drums, and we’re taking this new album on a WEST COAST TOUR WOW. ALSO our friends in the incredible Strog are coming with us, I kind of can’t believe it. More incredible supporting acts announced soon. Tell all your friends in these cities!

We’re kicking off the tour with a very special album release show in SLC presented by Hypha Productions in a fuckin’ CHURCH with Nicole Canaan and Strog on July 25th and tickets for that are ON SALE NOW!

I couldn’t be more proud of this record, and I truly can’t wait to see y’all out there in person this summer about it. I will have some incredibly cool merch for this one, too. See you soon! More to come!
